Please do not get fooled by the photos of Keratin Treatment you have seen on the internet. These photos are taken immediatley after a keratin treatment and you will see perfect straight looking hair like a smoothening treatment. Keratin Treatment is not an alternative to smoothening. This straight look is mainly because of the heavy ironing of the hair during the keratin treatment. The final hair texture will reveal only after a few hair washes. A keratin treatment may or may not give straight results anywhere between 30 to 70% depending on your hair texture. Clients with fine hair will see more straight results, clients with course hair will see less straight results.
Keratin treatment may not be a suitable treatment for taming very thick and unruly hair.
